Summary of the Law--Homily 10/31/2021

In Mark 12, a scribe commends Jesus for his summary of the law. Jesus, in turn, says the scribe is not far from the Kingdom. So then how does the law make us close to the Kingdom? More importantly, how does our entry in the Kingdom become complete?

Mark 10:46-52 Jesus answers the prayer of Batimaeus. More importantly, he answers the prayer behind the prayer. This teaches us to have more integrity in what we ask of God.
